DNS Checker

Welcome to the ZeoTools DNS Checker, a bulk DNS record lookup that resolves an entire list of domains in a single run. Paste one domain per line, tick the record types you want, and every answer arrives in the same sortable table instead of seven separate terminal windows. Like the rest of our free toolkit it needs no account, no API key, and no daily quota.

What each type tells you: A and AAAA give the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses a visitor is sent to, CNAME reveals an alias pointing somewhere else, MX lists the mail exchangers and their priorities, NS names the authoritative servers for the zone, TXT carries SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and ownership verification strings, and SOA exposes the primary server, the zone contact, and the serial number that changes on every edit.

How the three verdicts differ: A domain is reported as having records when at least one answer of a selected type comes back. It is reported as empty when the zone clearly exists but publishes nothing of the types you asked for, which is normal for a parked name with only NS records. It is reported as not resolving when neither the requested types nor a fallback probe for A, AAAA, NS, SOA, MX, or CNAME returns anything, the usual sign of an expired registration or a typo.

One honest limitation: Every answer is what our resolver sees right now, complete with whatever the upstream cache is still holding. A record you published moments ago may take until its TTL expires to appear here, and a geographically split zone can hand our datacenter a different address than your visitors receive. Re-run the check after the TTL has passed before concluding that a change failed.
